"All that is gold does not glitter, not all those who wander are lost; the old that is strong does not wither, deep roots are not reached by the frost. From the ashes a fire shall be woken, a light from the shadows shall spring."
We all know someone. Do it because you care. #realtalk I do.
Tony Bennett’s version reached #16 in 1951, while the Clovers hit #14 on the R&B chart. The Statues peaked at #84 on the Pop chart in 1960, while Vinton’s version stalled at #33 in the UK in 1963 - however, on reissue in 1990 it peaked at #2 in the US. In my opinion, Lana Del whatever ruined it. I was blessed with the opportunity to see Bobby Vinton perform his famous version, two years ago, in Branson. I can see your game, Miss Lana-banana. Just because it was a smashing success then, doesn’t meant that you can make history repeat itself.
